Silk charmeuse: 100% silk
- High shine surface and matte underside.
- High drapability and liquid-like feel.
- Feels great against the skin and is breathable.
- Machine rolled baby hem
- Reactive inks are permanent.
- Due to some residual ink from the print process, for first washing wash alone with a full load setting in cold water. Add a mild detergent, 1 cup vinegar and 2 tsp salt. For future washes, machine wash cold water with a phosphate free detergent. Add a mild fabric softener to enhance softness and drape.
- Machine dry on low heat or hang to dry.
- Iron on silk setting (delicate) with low steam.
- Expect some shrinking: 1% in width and length
Chiffon: 100% polyester chiffon fabric
- Smooth surface with low lustre
- Very soft hand, lovely drape, mimics silk
- Print is visible about 50% on the back side
- Vivid print that will never fade after washing
- Machine wash in cold water with phosphate free detergent, hang to dry, iron on synthetic setting, may shrink after the first wash
